Kill la Kill The Game - IF is a 3D Arena Fighter focused on 1v1.
KLK - IF is is an entry into the likes of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, etc. . Unlike traditional 2D Fighting Games it has much more simple controls and is focused more on Movement, Spacing and Decision Making while keeping it the controls snappy.
Satsuki General Gameplay Impression
Unlike her Dual Wielding self the normal Satsuki proves to be more of an all-rounder, though it doesn't change her glass-cannon nature. Meaning she doesn't have much health so make sure you don't get hit too often.
Her CR- and Break Attacks are moderately fast and are capable of keeping the opponent in check. The Air Break is especially notable for the above average range making it a move you might want to consider in mid-range.
The LR-Attacks on the other hand are capable of Full Screen Range meaning there is no out-of-range distance. The third attack is capable of a Wall Splash. This is where you're required to have a little bit more finesse because she does have a fourth slash that also slams your opponent against the wall which greatly reduces the wall stun and removes the Dash in Combo Opportunity.
In short keep in mind the distance between the opponents and the wall and act accordingly for optimal utility.
Important: Her LR-Attacks do not necessarily combo into each other and seem timing sensitive, so make sure you got it down for optimization.
It comes with a single caveat, these attacks can be Homing Dashed through which is why it's recommended to mix your ranged attacks with Charged ones to keep them honest block the Homing Dash preemptively.
On surface she seems to be an easy to use character which is partially true because she feels well rounded.
But optimizing her requires positional/situational awareness of the opponent and the wall because otherwise she won't be able to do much damage.
Her in-combo-break attacks push the opponent into the air which also limits the damage potential but can be off-set using her LR Special which can also be used in the air and also has Wall Splat potential.
She's easy to use on a casual level, but once you get closer to the upper strata she might be one of the most complex ones to use.
