The "TRANSFORMERS" franchise goes back to the beginning on two fronts; rewinding to a joint "best buddies to arch enemies" origin story for Optimus Prime and Megatron and returning to animation. It proves to be a winning decision on both fronts, delivering a surprisingly solid robot-punching mini-epic that wraps a solid "Baby's First Revolutionary-Schism" scifi-action story around a lot of striking animation and satisfying adventure business.
