In this video we walkthrough the steps to do a RGB led mod. While the video focuses on a Nintendo Gamecube, the reality is this can be applied to any console and you just need 5v and ground to from the console to solder the led controller to. This tutorial will take you through all steps from start to finish as well as provide some soldering advice. The is a fantastic way to really create a custom gamecube, sega saturn, n64, snes or even controller and is really the icing on the cake to a well modded system!

If you want to do a controller:

I would recommend a different led controller for a controller. I would either go with the shinewave, which I showed here: https://youtu.be/WYO_u8BaUcw or I would use this one, but you cant use individually addressable LED's with this one. you need to use a 5V led strip (emphasis on the 5v) and you need to do a bit of modification to the led controller itself.
