In this video I show how to install the shinewave reactive led mod using the custom PCB I made. This will really up your controller game and while it might not make you a better smash player… win, loose, or draw you will look good in the process.

If you plan to use this on a Gamecube or Wii it will work as you see in the video:
i.e. idle animation is a slow rainbow flash,
Pressing X or Y will flash green,
Pressing down + B will flash blue,
left, up and right on the dpad will all fast rainbow flash,
down on the dpad will adjust the brightness of the leds

If you plan to use this on the switch, I recommend the 8bitdo GBros wireless receiver here: https://amzn.to/2O27O2Y This receiver maintains all functionality noted above
If you use the official Nintendo USB Gamecube controller adapter on either Wii U or Switch it will only do the idle animation, which is still cool!
