Attempt to repair and smoothing out an old 1/10 RC Touring track at Starmoen, Elverum in Norway. We used parts of a reinforcing mesh as a grinder and a tire filled with concrete as weight.
It did help allot to smooth things out. And with the correct 'chemicals' to restore the properties of the asphalt, there is hope this old track will get some grip back.
After the grinding we used a old truck tire and scrubbed in some rubber in the track line.
This helped allot with adding some much needed rubber dust in the track and hopefully will over time make the cars stick better to the track.
