The 52-year-old presenter announced on social media that he wed his future wife Ingrid over the weekend during a "day full of love and laughter" He also posted a picture of the couple on their wedding day.
Richard wrote "The most magical, joyful day on Saturday with my beautiful wife [Ingrid Oliver]. Surrounded by wonderful friends and family, a day full of love and laughter. We're so, so happy."
