Another week of Fortnite challenges are here, though perhaps overshadowed a bit by the fact that this is also the day that Epic is launching its giant crossover with Avengers: Endgame. That LTM comes with its own set of challenges that are slowly rolling out over the next week or so, but for now, we also have some regular old challenges to get through in order to claim Ruin, the season 8 mystery skin, and also get your tiers up before the end here.
Here are the challenges we have to work with this week:
Some of these are very, very straightforward, even for generic challenges. There’s a five stage “land at the place” one which is easy enough. Go check on the rune action at Loot Lake to start. Then there are chests at Polar Peak or Lonely Lodge. Peak seems like the best call there given the abundance of them in the castle and dungeon and mini-town there. Doing damage to enemies from below is pretty situational, so this one might take a bit of time, and you’re far more likely to be damaging people from above with the way build battles work. And killing an opponent in different matches? I mean, come on. Why is that even a challenge?
The more interesting challenges this week are riding three volcano vents in one go. You will no doubt want to head to the about-to-erupt volcano zone for that, as that’s where you will have the most vents clustered together by far.
Then you need to dance between three ice sculptures, but that’s actually only the first of three different “dance between” challenges total. Since you might not know where all these locations are, we have a guide for that right here.
Finally, you have to use the new Apex Legends Reboot Van to revive a teammate. This is only for squads or duos, and if you need to know where the closest Reboot Van is to you, we have a map for you here.

Next week, we will be back to having a few more interesting challenges like shooting yourself through flaming hoops and hunting for treasure using mystery maps, so this week is a bit tame by comparison.
