I forgot to mention that in-base drops ignore most of your defences. If possible, set up internal defences and try to roof over as much of your interior as possible.

Trade ships come and go, with each type having certain demands and offers. For example, slave ships often offer high amounts for medicine, while military ships tend to sell medicine on the cheap.
