A hallway filled with open doors in RimWorld can be the best way to maintain temperature when done correctly, resulting in nearly perfect insulation with no power usage!

The double-wall method is effective in RimWorld for keeping a room from bleeding too much temperature, but the downside is that the coolers or heaters need to be constantly running. As the temperature delta increases, this power usage increases as well.

With this open-door method, the coolers and heaters can be powered off and only toggled when the system needs a refresh (which it doesn't need often). The setup is simple and scalable: the wrap doesn't need to be a wrap and can instead be along just one wall or you can encircle your entire colony with it.
