After escaping the Barge, the Doom Slayer battles through the ruins of a city in the quarantine zone near the San Andreas Chasm — deep inside a demon-infested California. His target? The Citadel of Hell, where Deag Grav and Deag Ranak await.

Once there, the Slayer presents the severed head of Deag Nilox, sending a clear message: their time is running out. Despite their fear, the remaining Hell Priests claim the Argent Energy will soon return — fueled by the souls of Earth’s "non-believers." They teleport away just before the Slayer can finish the job.

Then, the Khan Maykr appears in holographic form, warning the Slayer to stand down. She declares that Earth must submit and repent — or be consumed. With no intention of backing down, the Slayer exits through a portal opened by VEGA, returning to the Fortress of Doom to prepare for what’s next.
