I play a Magic the Gathering Online Modern league with Izzet Phoenix, a throwback favorite from Patreon subscriber ToastMalone. This is the deck that got Faithless Looting banned in Modern, it stood toe to toe with Hogaak during Hogaak Summer, and now it is a Pioneer staple that doesn't seem much play in Modern. We're going to change that! Izzet Murktide is a top deck in the format that shares a lot of cards. Preordain being unbanned gives the deck more 1 mana cantrips it desperately needed. It's time for this deck to rise from the ashes! MTG
