Rise Of Insanity VR First Play through and used Oculus Quest 2
1My First playthrough of this Game And It was Using an Oculus Quest 2 through steam in oculus mode.
I played this game without any research so I get a first impression and try to figure out the story.
I later found out after playing this and then looking at reviews That to get the proper feel of the game I should have played it on PC and not in VR as this was not originally made for VR.
I also suggest those with Epilepsy/Seizures That responds to white and red flashes for seizures not to play this game or if you do Make Sure you have a safe spot to Sit or lay and rest during or after a seizure. I had 3 during this game, Though I believe it could have been avoided if they just tinted or added a little more color in the White and Red Light Flashes.
I Enjoyed The Beginning But Then The Graphics started to get worse through out the game , things repeating themselves, and the 2 or 3 glitches I ran into didnt make it that much better. I'd rate it a 5 out of 10 but honestly think If I played it direct pc instead of VR I may have given it a 6 or 7. The locker lock bug I found in VR did not happen in the PC mouse and keyboard version. I don't scare at all so I wasn't focused on the jump scares or anything just the story. When I figured out the story already early in the game the story seemed to just drag from there. They try to change your mind a few times but its still the same thing. Then The Ending, there really wasn't much there. You think You Went Through All This For A Build up story or A Major Break Through but in My Eyes It Was A Dud.
Long story short: Liked The Beginning But middle to end went down hill graphics and performance wise along with the last 1/3 of the ending.
