Happy 20th, ROTT! To celebrate the original v1.0 shareware release, I've re-ran the BONUS BONUS no-save pistol-start run on the secret shareware level. It's a lot tougher on the hardest difficulty with so many ways to screw up. This run can definitely be done faster, if anybody wants to try. Here's the criteria for getting a BONUS BONUS:

- End the level with one bar of health. (Restores it to full when completed)
- Break all of the breakable life items.
- Use all powerups.
- Use all health items.
- Eliminate all enemies.
- Flip every switch, step on every touchplate, use all secret walls, and activate every pillar.
- Run into a Flamewall shot before it hits the wall or ground. This is tough to do as the hardest difficulty doubles explosion damage on the player (hence the God Mode trick in the video).
- Make sure no missile weapon pickups are remaining in the level. (Glitched, as bazookas spawned on blitz guards do not count towards the total, but picking up those weapons screws up the count)
- Destroy all plant decorations. (There are only two types of decoration that count as plants).
- Never fire a handgun. (Counts towards dual-wielding too)
- Use all healing basins and/or shroom powerups.
