Welcome to my first look video for Rise to Ruins, formally known as Retro-Pixel Castles. In this Rise to Ruins Gameplay video, we'll settle in a new world and do our best to survive our first night.

What is Rise to Ruins?

Rise to Ruins is a survival, RTS game where you'll build a village and try to survive for as long as possible. Your villagers find themselves in an unforgivable environment, doing their best to build up their town with homes, defenses, weapons, farms and more.

What is Rise to Ruins Gameplay like?

Rise to Ruins is currently in Steam Early Access but is very well fleshed out for it's alpha and beta stage. Rise to Ruins plays like a village management simulation game, but the added element of being attacked by skeletons, zombies and the like. Use towers and magic to defend your villagers as each day gets progressively harder.

Rise to Ruins Features deep gameplay elements, a map editor, three different game modes including survival, sandbox and peaceful mode. There are several more features that you'll just have to explore for yourself.
