My Review of the indie base building village-em-up Rise to Ruins [as of InDev 29b]

Rise to Ruins is what I'd expect you would get if you put The Settlers, Black and White in a blender with a tower defence game. You'll transport to a new and hostile world from apparently space with the goal of creating a village to defend from what lurks in the dark! (It's zombies)

So build your dream village, cater to your villagers needs, keep them fed, watered and housed. But most importantly keep them safe. For this village requires defences, walls, golems and towers. Build a maze of walls for your enemies to get through while being battered by a hail of arrows! Then go back to growing carrots. You may not survive forever. But who cares! Go again!
