Risen is one of thoses games you either love or hate. Fortunately, I was in the love camp as I finished the game 2.5 times.

While I enjoyed Risen's gameplay, its hard for me to fully recommend as there are many other games on PC and major consoles that do what Risen does better than Risen.

Sidenote: I realize there's not footage of a mage character. However, look closely at the screen when I discuss the character customization. Magic is fairly limited here.
