45This is a video guide / tutorial / walkthrough for obtaining a gold medal in the Risk of Rain Returns Providence Trial called "Lightning Strikes Twice." Completing this trial awards you with the alternate secondary skill for Artificer, "Pulse Spear." "Lightning Strikes Twice" is not a timed trial and instead simply counts how many enemies you are able to take out with a single usage of "Pulse Spear." If you take out 7 or more you will receive the ability unlock and if you take out 22 or more you will receive the gold medal. This makes for a very fun little mini game and one that I break down for you in the video, showing you where to run and a back-up method. I even explain how it is better to shoot the arrow up higher, giving you more time to react.
