Hoo boy. The final stage of Ristar sees the rapidly degenerating mental faculties of three wicked men put to the final test by anti gravity shoes and bizarre wave-syle mini bosses. It even reaches multilingual stages of incoherence. All comes perilously close to an early termination when the game starts making tall skill demands! Who even knows if we’ll ever see a part 7?! Anyway fair’s fair so I might as well mention that the shoes were added by the American port to clarify that something involving zero gravity would happen. I will begrudgingly concede that this makes up a bit for enlamenig the rest of the game by getting rid of the goddess Oruto and the Cat Ice Monster.
