It’s been a while, but it is again time for Trouble Planet to take to the mean streets of Initial D. Rubber banding logic to put the most ignominious depths of Mario Kart to shame. Somehow this arcade racing game is in possession of more menus than freaking Phoenix Wright. We will meet Initial D fans halfway by acknowledging details of the series’ storied events, even as certain malcontent elements work to antagonize same. Suddenly, there are a lot of potshots taken at the very notion of the existence of Twitch. Not that there’s ever a bad reason to do so, but it’s just odd that we suddenly felt compelled to convey these ideas.
