I was on the lookout for the option to halve the speed and temporary disable the acceleration and deceleration values, for accurate driving when shunting. These can be switched using F3 and F4 on the loc. In the Zimo decoder we have to set some bits in CV124 and if you like you can also use CV155-157 for even more settings.
It all worked out well. The end result is that I can use F3 to drive at half speed and use F4 to set the acceleration and deceleration at 1/4 of the original values (0 is also possible, but 1/4 gives a little more realistic look).
