Road 96 - Part 1 - Starting Our Journey.
0Hey everyone and welcome to a new series of Road 96. This is such an interesting game to me, as we play though we are given choices that will affect the outcome of the game, I hope you enjoy it.
We start off learning about the black brigade and an attack that happened in the past. We also get a look at some of the characters we could meet along the way. The first character we meet is Alex. Alex is another kid like us travelling alone. Alex is extremely smart and very good at coding, he even makes games. After travelling together for some time we learn so much more about Alex and what happened to his parents. Unfortunately, we can't stay together forever and we need to continue moving on, even if it's alone.
We part ways at the next drop-off point. We find ourselves at a camp, there are posters everywhere about an upcoming vote. It seems everyone is worried about the vote and who will win, is it really that important? In the distance we see someone being shouted at and we step in to help. Here we meet Zoe, another teen with another story for us to try and learn about. We spend the night chatting with Zoe and learning more about her. Zoe tells us she is never going home again, life must have been hard for her. After talking for some time we even begin to play some music together.
The next morning we keep making our way to the border and we find a new person to speak with named John. John is a truck driver and was willing to drive us closer to our next location. It's nice learning more about these people, I wonder if we will get into contact with them again? It seems that so many people have been affected by the attack in the past, it must have hurt a lot of people.
We reach the end of the road with John and have to stop at a Happy Taxi. Here we see two men trying to break into the store. The two are called Stan and Mitch, after they spot us they want us to help. How can we say no when they have such dangerous weapons? We have to try and help Stan and Mitch break in without setting off the security alarms or getting caught.
