Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed (Original 3DO Release - All Videos - Remastered)
This is the entire FMVs found in the original 1994 3DO release of the very first Need for Speed video game collaborated by Road & Track magazine.
All 4x3 videos, excluding the X Man cutscenes were interpolated at 30fps and upscaled to 960p.
The opponent cutscenes mentioned were interpolated to 23.97fps and upscaled to 720p instead.
All 16x10 videos were interpolated at 23.97fps and upscaled to 960p.
Note that all cop cutscenes were cropped into the OAR mixed with the busted scenes that were brought into later releases.
The busted cutscenes were separated into two sets for this release where it features three cop-only cutscenes with one of them being the long version not seen in later releases and the entirely known busted cutscenes that can be found elsewhere.
The attract, car showcases and the busted scenes (minus the sole cop scenes) were taken from the Special Edition release for Windows/DOS.
This is a reimagined video compilation that emulates the final master before using heavy compression for commercial release. All CG scenes are most likely to be rendered somewhere between 15-30fps while most of the live-action sequences are shot on 16mm Arriflex film cameras as evident by the credits sequences found on the PlayStation release.
