Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote [Hi-Tech Software] - Commodore 64 - longplay
Hi-Tech Software was best known for her video games based on Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
Hi-Tec closed in 1992, but the other development company to which it was closely related, PAL Developments, later renamed David A. Palmer Productions, continued in business for several years.
This longplay is another effort of the mightiest Commodore 64 player, minotaurus :D
Now let's go with his notes about the game and the longplay:
"the game is simple and quite funny (but repetitive).
During the longplay I show, more or less, everything that the game offers:
• title screen sid music
• message if you fail the fixed level (3:19 - 4:00)
• message if you fail the scrolling level (8:49 - 9:49), showing also that Wile E. Coyote (who seems to actually be reaching you in slow motion) becomes faster every time you lose energy.
Many many many thanks to Minotaurus985, the friendly neighborhood C64 expert, for playing the whole game, as part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
