My next Tool-Assisted Speed run features "RoadBlasters" for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. At first, I was going for a complete pacifist run where I simply avoid all traffic and just go along my merry way. Unfortunately, it soon became apparent that wherever my destination was, I'd need to destroy a few people along the way so that I can replenish my fuel. I still avoid as much confrontation as possible though as I swerved through each rally stage.

Most power-ups are avoided except for the Nitro Inject and one instance where I grab an UZ Cannon to take out my aggression on the never-ending traffic. I tell myself it was only to buildup my reserve tank for the next few levels, but honestly it felt good to finally unload some firepower on these horrible drivers.

This road trip was quite interesting and I must question not only where I my destination was taking me, but also why all of these people were so hell-bent on running me off the road. Perhaps this is some kind of Mad Max style dystopian future... or maybe I just cut someone off.
