This is a simple horror game enemy AI that tries to find the player by switching between different states. Most Godot monster AI videos just show you how to make an enemy that always travels to the player. Here, this enemy actually works like you'd expect from a horror game monster. I roams, chases the player and searches the area when it loses sight of the player. It should also be easy for you to add more states to make its behavior more advanced.
