Robert Irwin's family member has dementia
0On Sunday, Robert Irwin broke his heart by admitting that his maternal grandpa had dementia.
The 19-year-old animal activist said on The Project that it had been heartbreaking to watch his grandfather Clarence, who was the father of Robert's mother Terri Irwin, suffer from the awful consequences of the degenerative condition.
'I think there's no-one living who hasn't encountered someone or has a loved one who has experienced this. My grandfather on my mum's side had a form of dementia and a lot of family friends have had that as well' he said.
