108Some gameplay from the very beginning of the interesting survival game Robinson's Requiem. As you can see, it's extremely rough, and there's practically no direction, but it's an interesting title for its complexity and totally unforgiving difficulty. In fact it's a game that's oddly more fun to fail at than it is to win... especially since the learning curve's so ridiculous that you won't be doing much other than failing miserably.
You can die from pretty much everything conceivable. Got cut? Better clean it before you get an infection. Otherwise you might have to amputate. That fever you're dismissing could be fatal. Bandage those wounds up or you might bleed to death. Watch your step... don't want to fall off a cliff. All those possibilities (those are only a small fraction of the ways you can die) really make you feel vulnerable, and it's certainly an interesting feeling when you're talking about a first-person adventure-style game.
