"Robot Exploration Squad" - So Simple Its A Work Of Art!
1A 2D Metroidvania game with equal focus on action and exploration. Are you a bad enough robot to make it out in one piece?
I've had Robot Exploration Squad in my Steam library for months, and keep looking over it. I have way to many games backlogged.
I finally decided to give it a try today, and I'm glad I did. I wasn't expecting that much out of it to be honest. Most games on Steam that only cost $2.99 are stinkers. This game actually impressed me a lot.
I only played just past the first boss to give you a sample of the game. I decided to keep going after I cut the recording. The world is a lot bigger than I at first expected, and the enemies get a whole lot cooler than the starting mini green men.
The platformer controls are also really nice. The jumping isn't to difficult, and the shooting style is simple.
Robot Exploration Squad is actually a really nice metroidvania style platformer. From what I've played of it so far, I'm gonna recommend it if your looking for something new to play, but on a tight budget.

When a massive and mysterious space station suddenly shows up, the Robot Exploration Squad is sent in to investigate. You play as the first scientist to throw on a robo suit and board the station.
