Rock of Ages II: Bigger and Boulder is a sequel to the hybrid of a strategy and action game. Similarly as the first title, it was created by ACE Team. The gameplay mechanics are mostly based on the first game in the series and are focused on competition between the players. The basic gameplay mechanics of PC, PS4 and XONE version of Rock of Ages II: Bigger and Boulder haven’t changed much in comparison to the first game. It is an action game enriched with features of a tower defense strategy game. The gameplay focuses on rivalry between castles connected by a long path. Each side alternately attacks the opponent’s stronghold by taking control over a rocky ball. The opponent is defending himself by buying troops and buildings and positioning them in such way so that they stop, throw off the path or slow down the opponent’s rock.
