Rocket League Adds Back to the Future's DeLorean October 21 2015 and Rocket League Adding Halloween-Themed Items for a Limited Time only.
Psyonix dropped a brand new trailer for the upcoming Rocket League dlc and I was blown away by the snail snippet teaser trailer.
If you are a fan of the back to the future series like me then the fact that Rocket League is adding the Back to the Future's DeLorean as a DLC is quite an exciting feature. The iconic time travelling car will be released on October 21st which ironically is the day that Marty Mcely Visits in Back To the Future 2 .
Maybe because I am a fan of the movie I might come off a lil bias but it looks awesome and the Distinctive flaming tire tracks just adds that extra spice to it and the trailer is pretty much only 30 seconds but that enough for me to be sold
The car will be included in the back to the future pack.
Rocket League is getting quite a bit of new content this month. There is a new upcoming Rocket League DLC pack is due out this week that adds content inspired by the game's predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. It's also adding Halloween-themed items that you'll be able to unlock, but only for a limited time.
Beginning on October 18, six new items will be available as post-game rewards: the calavera, fuzzy brute, and fuzzy vampire antennas; pumpkin topper; carriage wheels; and candy corn rocket trail. You'll earn these as you would standard items, by simply playing the game. Whether you win or lose, you'll have a shot at unlocking these items after completing a match.
You'll only have a limited time to do so, however--they'll only be available until November 2. If you aren't able to get your hands on something by then, you'll have to wait until next year's Halloween event for another shot at unlocking it.
All in all I am happy to see the continued support for rocket league as it was a title that certainly sneaked up on me and surprised me how epic of a game it is.
