In this video, I explain why I hate TikTok so much. As a viewer, it consumes my life even when I don't want it to. I find myself subconsciously scrolling until 2AM some nights without even realizing it. As a creator, it's just a frustrating, if not more. ANYONE can go viral from one video and there is no punishment for stealing content. That combination of facts causes a huge chain reaction of recycled content whenever something is seen to go viral. It gets reposted over and over again. The worst part about this is that the original creator gets NO BENEFITS from their content going viral. If it goes viral on someone else's account, which is what happens most often, that success is taken out of their hands and given to someone who did NO WORK. This is why I hate TikTok so much.
