Out of all the bosses, Burst Man definitely benefits the most from not flinching from his weakness. Since his attacks aren't interrupted, it means more opportunities for you to be caught in his bubbles, and unlike in the SNES version, sliding before you hit the spikes doesn't avoid them, so you will have to mash your way out. __
