So, I was debating if I should even upload this video or not, but as it was my first time back into DBD since Elden Ring was released, I wanted to just have a nice relaxed time back into it.

Maybe anyone who has the same mouse as I (The Asus ROG Chakram) may have encountered this before. I think the idea is that the game was taking any mouse input and converting it (or seeing it) as a thumb stick input. The reason I think this is because for whatever reason, Steam sees the mouse as another third party controller (Not Xbox, PS4, Nintendo, etc) due to its directional thumb stick on the left hand side of it.

Literally the only way it seemed for me to get rid of this issue was to go into Steam's "General Controller Settings" and disable "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support".

One system restart later and the problem is gone. So, let me know if this helped you or not. And Valve, I wouldn't mind a fix for this as I do have some third party controllers I like to use on occasion...
