As the smallest OLED monitor we've reviewed so far, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM does well at what we've thrown at it. Unlike other OLED displays, this monitor is a 1440p display adaptable to most desktop setups given its smaller 27-inch footprint.
Checking off all the boxes, the monitor supports a wide range of requisite display standards with G-SYNC and FreeSync. However, when it comes to ports the HDMI 2.0 support is a concern if users are looking to play console games on the display. The biggest highlight of the ROG Swift OLED PG27A-QDM is its 240Hz refresh rate for the smoothest gameplay, and it’s one of the highest in the market right now. On top of that, it has a touted response time of 0.03 milliseconds, but it’s more likely that the real-world response time would be higher than that. Given these specs, the best use of this monitor would be primarily for PC gaming, with console gaming being more of a secondary consideration.
