Rogue is the grandfather of all roguelikes. Created in 1980 by Michael Toy, Glenn Witchman, and Ken Arnold. I'm playing version 3.6.3, the last version with the original Dungeons and Dragons enemies, before the fear of copyright lawsuits forced the developers to change the names.
