A bit of a cliche beginning, but that's fine. I am bad at this kind of game. It's clearly a game meant to be played and beaten multiple times, repeatedly, I'm tempted to change the difficulty to casual, and then replay on the next highest difficulty, and then the next, repeatedly until I feel satisfied. They're clearly going for a very Anime look, so I think it might have been better if I chose Japanese audio for the game. It still feels sort of weird to me, having to have my aiming and my position tied to each other. I prefer the Sin and Punishment system, wherein your movement and shooting are separate, although I know that Star Fox and this game are not that kind of railgun shooter. It just feels like I'm required to put myself in position near the "dangerous bits" when I get behind certain enemies, and it also feels like sometimes I'm kind of weak.
I haven't played a game with a controller in a while, so it honestly felt weird to feel the controller shaking and rumbling in my hands with the shooting of the gun in-game.
I'm embarrassed that it took me a little while to figure out where to shoot on one of the bosses, and I'm also a tad surprised how bad I was at dodging all of the most obvious and telegraphed attacks by the enemy that the game had in it.
