You'd think, for a dude dedicated to showing all facets of the roguelike genre, that I would have gotten to this game sooner! Either way, here it is, the one that started it all, the beginning of everything, and alpha that led to the plethora we see today. Not even a rogue-LIKE, dear viewer, this is simply Rogue.

To be honest, there isn't a lot TO see, because practically every other game I've played takes this game and expands upon it in some shape or form. So I'm going to try and make this a learning experience as we play, digging into the mechanics and the inspirations and the legacy. To that end, lemme know what you'd like to learn! I'll gather some materials ahead of time for each recording and throw those facts out there.

Music-wise, the plan is to use stuff from the OCRemix album "Final Fantasy IV: Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption", so I won't state the album unless it changes. This song is entitled "Full of Courage".
