9This is it! The final confrontation! WHO WILL WIN? Lucky for me, it's a long video either way, so it's not obvious what will happen for once!
This is a pretty fun game, after everything's said and done. There's very obvious replayability to be had, which is super-important for newcomers of the genre, because it's critical to get that feel for wanting to try out different strategies. Graphics are simple and don't get in the way; the music and sounds fit the aesthetic well; the game mechanics allow for players to pick up the game quickly but also provide plenty of room to optimize and plan ahead. It's not quite a coffeebreak roguelike, by any means, but it is certainly what I would call "bite-sized" compared to most of the majors. Also, in spite of the many, many enemies, you can always count on where they'll show up, and there aren't any supremely out-of-floor challenges to worry about. All things considered, it's quite a solid piece of work, and I can proudly say it's something to try out if you're a roguelike fan.
