Out of the 3 Rogue Squadron games this is my favorite. Though, out of the 4 Star Wars games, this is my 2nd favorite, with "Shadows Of The Empire" being my favorite. Whereas SOTE let you play as almost every aspect of the Star Wars universe, Rogue Squadron only deals with spaceship flight.

Here, you go through 16 levels, completing objectives to beat the level. Though there are no open space levels here, alway planetary. You can play as almost all the spaceships that were in the 1st 3 movies, along with some secret spaceships, like the Naboo Starfighter, which, Episode 1 wasn't even out when this game came out.

The plot is after the movie A New Hope, a new starfighter squardon is formed made up the best pilots called Rogue Squadron. You take on mission against the empire, to eventually stopping Moff Seerdon from capturing a huge supply of Bacta (the healing liquid Luke was in, in Empire Strikes Back).

I highly recommend it, it's the best of the Rogue Squadron games. Factor 5 did a good job with compressing this game to fit voice audio, high textures, and then some.
