7Let's Play Roguebook for the first time in 2023! I have had this game on my wishlist for a long time, and it went on sale on Steam, so here we go! Roguebook is a deck-builder, roguelite, RPG, with tabletop exploration mixed in. It's a great mashup on these ideas and, while it feels very similar in terms of mechanics and cards at times to Slay the Spire, this isn't a bad thing! It also feels different enough with the exploration, map choices, and how you upgrade your cards and have more overall account progression. It is made from Richard Garfield (the creator of Magic: The Gathering) and the team that made Faeria, which was also a very fun game--so I'm sold!
