Today I rolled the first person spaceship six-axis shooter roguelite, Sublevel Zero Redux. In the dark future, the universe is falling apart bit by bit. You are a member of a clan trying not only to survive, but also to figure out why the world is ending. Who knows, maybe it'll be possible to reverse the damage already done. But first, you'll have to fight to the center of a self-aware research station that is guarded by unmanned drones who have no intention on letting you get to the bottom of this mystery.

This is actually one of the older roguelites, but I do remember the big youtubers playing this one. This game wears its influence on its face. It is very clearly inspired by the game, Descent from 1995. I've never personally played that classic, but it was anything like this, I can see the appeal. Anyways, this game has a lot going for it. It's got a great atmosphere and art style. The weaponry is punchy and challenging to master, and while the controls can be a little difficult to get used to and potentially motion sickness inducing, once you get the hang of it, the game is pretty easy to control. Don't sleep on this one if you're in the market for something like it:
