The Hand of Merlin is an Indie, Turn Based, Tactical RogueLite RPG about traveling through different dimensions with your Party of three, gaining Power, Slaughtering enemies, and Discovering Artifacts of Legend, all for a chance to recover pieces of your Shattered Soul.

Playing it, I get a bit of an FTL Feeling, with the Food taking the place of Fuel, and Mana replacing Missiles to punch through enemy defense or give you a breath when you need it.

There is also a Hand of Fate vibe to the encounters, especially when you have to choose a card randomly in the events.

Finally, the combat has a bit of an XCOM: Enemy Unknown Influence as well, with the cover mechanisms, though you have to learn an ability to get an overwatch :(.

Permadeath is also a feature of The Hand of Merlin. Let's see if this one knocks me flat.
