It was seven years ago when I first recorded and uploaded a casual playthrough of this game, and since then, I've been speedrunning it. This game was my very first speedrun, and the first game I've uploaded a speedrun for on my channel. Many years later, it comes full circle. Today marks the return of Rokko Chan, a web-browser flash game made in the Mega Man playstyle. This run beats my last personal fastest time by 11 seconds.

This run was an imperfect one with quite a bit of jankery here and there (Rolling Man's stage and Mad Stage 1 as primary examples). However, in spite of those mess-ups, which in normal circumstances would have caused me to reset a run, I decided to keep going, and this time around, doing so was rewarded. That said, the stages that weren't Rolling and Mad 1 were actually pretty good, and boss luck was exceptional.

It was a run that definitely had its share of ups and downs, but the ups far outweighed the downs in this case. This was a time I was chasing down for years, and now I've finally got it. While it's clear that a 20:4X is possible, with the results I have now, I really have no room to complain. Anyway, enjoy the run and if there are any questions about the run, feel free to ask. (NOTE: The game was made for keyboard use and requires Flash to play. If you play with a controller, a Joy2Key type of program is required. Also, the In-Game Time is comparable to RTA times. So for all purposes, IGT and RTA are interchangable.)
