Roland Sound Canvas SC-8820 GM-Module playing Doom II & Descent Music

at first, please apologize for beeing absent so long. I'm quite busy and also facing some family issues but there will be a time when I'll made more content again! For todays video I showcase you my latest pickup - I couldn`t resist buying it when it was offered for 90 EUR and is in beautiful shape. Its one of the latest and modern units from roland and I guess they went to virtual midi software soon after - so the look and feel of the module really isn't comparable to the old-fashioned ones. You can call it cheap made I guess, its body is all plastic and there no controlls but a mode selector and a cheap led peak indicator. Anyway, its internals still are "Rolandish" and of high quality.
For the demonstration I choose the following tracks:

08:35 Descent (idk the level right now)
So my conclusion is: I like its sound and as General Midi modules are rare today, you can't always choose. So if you can grab one for a fair price it will connect via Midi to your retro-PC and will deliver great sound.
