This is Route 58 ran by High Peak buses. It goes between Macclesfield and Buxton via the Cat and Fiddle, Which in 2008 was named the Most dangerous road in the UK after 44 crashes between 2007 to 2011 of which 21 was fatal on a simple 7.5-mile section of road.

Even in the short time I have been working the road has claimed 2 vehicles unknown people but one resulting in a motorbike rider being airlifted and the other with a car upside down in a field.

The road is great fun to drive even in a bus, even more, when empty as you can push it further but you always have to have it in your head to know the limit and drive to the weather conditions.
