There were celebrations for 140 men and women who have passed out of Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) in Devon.

BRNC is where men and women journey from being ordinary civilians to officers in the Royal Navy.

They have completed a 29-week course and now with their pass-out ceremony, they cease being officer cadets and become midshipmen, sub-lieutenants or lieutenants.
