Troops in Afghanistan have received a surprise Royal visit, just days before Christmas. Prince Andrew, who served for 22 years as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Navy, spent time meeting soldiers, sailors and airmen across theatre. Throughout the weekend the Duke of York travelled around Afghanistan. He slept at Camp Bastion in Helmand province and also called in to see personnel at a Forward Operating Base. The Prince spoke exclusively to Forces News reporter Lorna Ward.
