RPG Maker Let's Play -Angel :The Silver Sword - Game Critique
18Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we transport into the MMO world of "Angel: The Silver Sword" by Z-G Games, a game within a game in the spirit of .hack// and Sword Art Online.
This game has a lot of potential with patterning itself after MMORPGs; however, it still requires a lot of work before it's ready. The maps are too big with not enough life, there is a seriously sparse population, and the dungeons have too many dead ends. We can see the game trying to come out from this idea, but it's not there yet.
The character of Steve, however, does have a unique possibility. The game can show the isolation and loneliness a person can feel, especially someone who only has an online game to connect them to others. If this thread is done right, it could become a very powerful story.
