RPG Maker XP - Doom RPG Prototype
134A short while back, Kinsie and I were talking about the release of RPG Maker 2000 on Steam, and I made a crack about why anyone would bother with it when the newer engines are out and available. The staggering irony went over my clueless little head, at the time.
Turns out there's still a bunch of people that still work with the engines to make new stuff, which is pretty cool. Found this on a guy's YouTube channel, he was trying to make a dedicated Doom game on RPG Maker XP using FPLE engine.
It's not too hot, but interesting from a technology standpoint. In kind of a "watching an engine choke on itself doing stuff it clearly can't do" kind of way.
