Taking place shortly after the events of the first game, Sora, Donald and Goofy are adventuring out in a field when a mysterious man in a black robe guides Sora down a path.

Sora follows the path and ends up in front of a mysterious castle, the Castle Oblivion, where some memories seem to start fading, while others start forming...
